1968 GTX
426 Hemi Convertible!

This is the real deal! Very low production, very desirable B-body Hemi GTX Convertible.... It's in excellent condition from top to bottom.
This car was once part of the Otis Chandler collection and is featured in the book American Musclecar. It is one of approximately 27 or so 1968 Hemi GTX convertibles known to exist.
As you can see by the photos the car is in excellent condition with what appears to be all original sheet metal throughout. It is clean straight and solid top to bottom. The fenders, doors, 1/4's, deck-lid, dutchman panel, hood, jambs and rockers are all in excellent condition. The complete undercarriage including the floors, trunk, frame rails torsion support, and trunk extensions are also in excellent condition. The car has been repainted at some point in it's life and the paint is base/clear and shows excellent.
The interior is all original and is excellent condition for it's age. It has the rallye rash with Tach and the console automatic shift. The convertible top appears to be the original and is in excellent condition. The top is powered, and it goes up and down like new.
All Chrome and bright work throughout is in very good to excellent original condition.
The 426 Hemi engine and 727 H.D. automatic transmission run great and shift tight. This is a numbers matching car.
The car has it's original fender tag and all body stamps match.

This is a rare piece of Mopar history. Overall I'd rate the condition of this car as an easy 85-90 out of 100. As with any 30 year old classic that has been enjoyed, there may be a few minor flaws, nicks, scratches to be expected. This car can be added to any collection with pride as it shows excellent from top to bottom.
