1968 Plymouth GTX, Set up for a 572 Hemi !

Full Independent Control Freak Suspension with Wilwood Disc Brakes

Sorry, It's Sold

Custom Pro Touring GTX Project !P

iii    There are several quality pictures posted below   iii

This is an original RS23L coded 440 Plymouth GTX. All body numbers match. Build sheet, and original certicard are included.

The car boasts a spectacular original GG1 Forest Green Poly on white colour combination. The paint has been cut and polished and is ready to show. From top to bottom the car looks amazing and is just waiting for assembly to finish it off. The pictures don't do it justice, this colour needs to be seen in person to be appreciated !

The wheels and tires shown in the pictures are for display purpose, you can have your choice of wheels and tires with this car.

It is fresh out of a rotisserie restoration awating your finishing touches. The car is currently set up with mounts for a 426-572 Hemi but I can swap them for 440 mounts if you'd prefer? The car was originally an automatic, but can easily be converted to a 4,5, or 6 speed if you choose. The car has  a complete Control Freak suspension installed; including tubular K-frame (takes 120 lbs off the front !), Tubular upper and lower control arms, Adjustable coil over Shocks, Rack and Pinion Steering and sway bar. It also has a complete wilwood disc brake set up.  The rear is an 8 3/4 sure grip with a 3:91 gear.  The car comes with tons of the original parts including seats, console, dash, trim, grill, bumpers, brackets, seat belts, mouldings, heater box (installed already), vents, wipers, rad, glass , etc, etc... Also included is the full original suspension, brakes and K-frame in case you'd prefer to finish this as a concourse original car. To do that, you just remove the krame bolts and change it back !

Overall this would be an easy project for someone to finish off and have a top notch, Custom Hemi Pro Touring GTX. The previous owner had over $45,000 invested in this car to this point but just lost interest in completing the project. It can be bought now for $29,995 as it sits or we can discuss a price to complete it for you, the way you want...  The car does not come with a transmission or engine. I can supply anything from an original date correct 440 and 727 Trans, all the way up to an 800 horse aluminum hemi with a 6 speed manual trans. I will also supply the buyer with any parts I sell to complete this car , at wholesale cost. This includes legendary interior, weatherstrip etc...etc...
