1955 Buick Riviera 2 Door Hardtop

Original Paint !

Sorry it's sold

This 1955 Buick Special-Riviera is in very solid original condition. It has original paint and was in storage from 1964 until 2000. The car has been mechanically restored including brakes, cooling system, engine service, fuel system, electrical, new tires and more... The car and the mechanical restoration has been fully documented in a 2 inch thick log book. Documentation also includes, service history, GM Canada paperwork, owner history, photos of the car when new, the day it was removed from underground storage, and through it's history. You won't find a better documented car ! There is some neat history with this one...

This car is the rare and desirable Black with silver/grey interior. The interior has been redone, seats recovered, new carpet etc... The car currently sits in original paint with zero body filler or patch panels. The original sheet metal from top to bottom is in excellent condition. Frame, floors and trunk are solid and exceptional ! There is one small hole about the size of your thumb on the top of the passenger 1/4. This would be about a 5-6 hour metal finish repair in my shop. The original paint is in ok condition for its age and could be left alone if you wanted to keep it as a conversation piece but, in my opinion it needs a paint job, and would be a spectacular piece with one. All stainless is in excellent condition. Chrome is complete, but should be redone.
It has the 264 engine with an automatic trans. The GM Canada paperwork shows the model as the Riviera 2 door coup. This is one of the best original condition tri-five GM's I have ever seen. If you are looking for an easy affordable project which could be completed and on the road within weeks (not months or years !) Then you will be exceptionally happy with this car.
If you aren't comfortable with finishing it yourself, I have a full service restoration shop and can do it for you. I also sell and install suspension, brake, wheel/tire upgrades including willwood brakes, control freak suspensions and many more so if you want to turn this into a radical 50's street rod or pro touring car we can do that also !
Asking price is $11,995 or best offer as is. Serious inquiry's only please. Desirable Musclecar /classic trades will be considered.

If you have any questions or would like to make arrangements to see the car in person, you can email or call anytime up till 10 pm e.s.t.
